Is America Ready For A Ron Paul Presidency

I guess Ron Paul should be quite low in recent days. Paul enjoyed the attention of the news of the net after the first debate in South Carolina was great, but for the past few weeks, Ron Paul seems to be a ghost in the news channels. This made me wonder why. Why was the media so obviously ignoring this potential candidate? Could it be that the radical message of Paul is a bit too far from the reserve to be taken seriously? After President Obama ordered the raid on a sovereign nation and kill a known enemy of the state, Ron Paul, said he would not have issued to kill Bin Laden. So if Ron Paul were president at the time, Bin Laden was still alive. Now a statement like that can ruin the chances of an individual to be nominated if not tarred and feathered by Rush Limbaugh himself.Never mind to invade a sovereign nation and start a shooting means breaking some major international law and is almost an act of war against the people and government in Pakistan. Never mind that the international community sees us as imperialistic, we feel we can do whatever we want to whoever we want anywhere want.Never that the capture of Bin Laden alive and try him in court is the only honest thing to do U.S. . Never mind that Bin Laden's death is a great loss of intelligence that could have saved countless American lives. You see, there is a logic of beauty and truth behind Ron Paul's policies. Going to kill Bin Laden was a terrible waste of resources. The good thing for us is dead? Oh, of course we have to celebrate, dancing in the streets and act like hyenas, but has a serious strain on our relationship with Pakistan and tumultuous, while telling the world that sovereignty does not mean absolutely nothing to us.Imagine some Chinese military helicopters circling the neighborhood and, finally, hovering above a house of his neighbor. Think of assault troops wearing black tablet under the helicopter to participate in a shootout with the one inside. It is a mission to kill so just go up in flames. The point is that the U.S. would like someone's head on a disk as if it were a violation of our sovereignty were committed. There would be no acceptable excuse or reason for it.Mainstream media love making these absurd statements poll Ron Paul, because they hurt their chances of being president if not allowed to fully explain the logic behind their statements. My thought is that if Ron Paul really wants to be nominated, it is best to keep these radical statements yourself until you can put out there with a full explanation it.The problem is, Ron Paul is too honest a man to hide truth or their feelings, even if it means to lie on the fire. When asked, he will respond with honesty and truth in his heart. Not refuse to respond until their policy advisors can give an answer to vomit like all the other candidates do. He will give his opinion when asked and if that is not good enough, then so be it.Maybe America is not ready for a Ron Paul presidency, but it sure would be nice to feel that our leader was honest and brave enough to tell us how things are for a change. Who knows what could be achieved with a president who does not treat us like an enemy, or worse, children. It would be nice that our President felt like a part of our American community instead of ruling it. I think the U.S. is really in dire need of such a leader.
